“Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were called as members in one body [of believers]. And be thankful [to God always]” Colossians 3:15, Amplified.
Holy Spirit, be as a gatekeeper for me. Tell me what is safe and what is out. Show me where to go and where not, and who should be in my life and who should not be. Show me what I should be involved in and what I should stay away from. Keep every door closed that’s not of you, and keep every door open that is of you. Be my gatekeeper. May only words of grace leave the gate of my mouth and not tear anyone down. Only to encourage and lift up. Help me to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. I reject every thought that comes from the enemy. I receive what you say about me and the thoughts and identity you speak over me. Open your gate and let a flood of wisdom pour into my life today. I lean on you, and I trust you will lead and guide me to live victorious! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
