“Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him” James 1:12, ESV.
Adversity can take you out or he can take you higher. It can cause you to look down, or it can cause you to look up to where your help comes from and it comes from the Lord. Through Christ’s strength, I believe you are going to outlast and overcome your adversity.
We all experience tough times. Yet, that doesn’t mean we cave in under various pressures. Pressure is required for coal to transform and become a diamond. It brings the very best out of it. If you see it how God sees your moment and receive adversity the right way, it is going to bring the best out of you.
Prayer: Father, I give you praise. You are good and you are faithful. Help me get through the adversity I’m facing. May the adversity take me higher and bring me closer to you. Your grace is sufficient. Cause me to see it from your point of view. Give me your perspective and I believe that you are bringing the best out of me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
