“But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things” 1 John 2:20, KJV.
One day, I had to make a big decision and didn’t know what to do. I started going back and forth about it, but in a moment, I stopped and said, “I have an unction from the Holy Spirit, and He will tell me what to do.” I paused for a moment and prayed, then He led me in a specific direction, and it worked out.
Whether great or small, the Holy Spirit has anointed us and provides direction for us at all times. There are things the Holy Spirit will say not to do or don’t say, and then you find He was right. There are things He will say to not worry about and praise Him for. He will even show you things to come. The Holy Spirit desires to make a powerful difference in our walk with God, and this is what the Lord wants you to enter more deeply.
As you begin inquiring of God what the rest of this year holds, there are already things by His Spirit you know God is speaking about for this season in your life. Like an instinct, you have an unction from the Holy Spirit about the Lord’s perfect will for you and be encouraged to follow His lead.
Prayer: Father, thank You for the unction to know all things. Help me to walk with You more deeply, being led by the Holy Spirit in this season of my life. In my spirit, I know You are still showing me things about the rest of this year. I declare I have an unction of the Holy One, and in this season, I will follow You into great things. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
