“My eyes are ever toward the LORD, for he will pluck my feet out of the net” Psalms 25:15, ESV.
In life, it can be easy to have our eyes fixed on the problem because it’s right before us. It’s so easy to look at the situation and become overwhelmed, discouraged, and feel as though there’s no hope.
Keep your eyes on Jesus. The devil wants to use your current situation to distract your eyes from looking unto God. He wants to distract your ears from hearing God because if you can hear God, you will hear His voice. You’ll hear a word in season. He’ll remind you of who you are. If you set your eyes on God, He will show you what to do.
Don’t focus on the problem. Fix your eyes on Jesus, and you will see everything you need is in Him. You’ll see the way He has already made.
Prayer: Father, thank You for Your word. I’m not looking at the problem. My eyes are on You, Jesus. Help me to keep my eyes are on how awesome You are. My eyes are on how faithful You are. I set my mind on Your word. My heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
