“In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ” 1 Peter 1:6-7 NKJV.
The trying of our faith is precious and more valuable than gold. You have faith completely based on what He wrote. A faith that can’t be robbed, swayed, contaminated, or turned from. A faith that is pure and has given you power because you have seen an unseen God for yourself. Your faith was tested, proven and came out on the other side pure as gold. This is the faith God is after, therefore, that is why He allows it to be tried in all types of fires in life. From relationships to trusting in money, even when He doesn’t do what you think He should or in the timing you desire, your faith remains steadfast in Him.
Prayer: Father, thank You that You are with me when my faith is tried. Through You, I will keep standing and will come through it better than ever. More of a blessed and dependent man on You. In this I greatly rejoice! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
