Keep being the best father you can be.

“He shall cry to Me, ‘You are my Father, My God, and the rock of my salvation’.” Psalm 89:26, NKJV.

I don’t know about you, but for most of my life, my biological father wasn’t there. Yet, God was there. He has been the best Father to me more than I could ever imagine.

Think about what your heavenly Father has done for you. He has blessed you with great victories. He has carried you through the toughest times of your life. When you needed to hear it, He told you that you could do it. The Father has never let you down. Be reminded of how God has been a good Father to you and be thankful.

He has blessed you with the greatest honor and privilege to be a father–the great cornerstone of the family structure of God. You are the guide of the home, the leader, protector, and provider. You are built to handle tough situations and lead your family through them. A father loves and ministers to his wife and children in every way. You make sure your home is happy, even when you don’t have a lot. Your children thrive at your wisdom and your voice of encouragement when you tell them they can do it.

God has been the best Father to you. Keep being the best father for your family. We honor you today. Happy Father’s Day!

Prayer: Father, when I think about what You have done for me, You are the best Father. Thank You for giving one Son for another to save me. Thank You for keeping me and providing me with everything I need to be a great father to my family. I don’t take it lightly. Help me to continue to love them like You and be the best father I can be. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
