“And I pray for good fortune in everything you do, and for your good health—that your everyday affairs prosper, as well as your soul!” 3 John 2, Message Bible.
I remember going bowling with some friends, and I have two techniques I use to bowl with. Well, the first technique wasn’t getting me anywhere that night. Once I recognized it wasn’t working, I thought to myself I need to change it up. I began using my other technique and made two strikes in a row, and ended up with a good night of bowling.
Sometimes in life, we come to ourselves, realize it’s time for an adjustment. It’s time for change.
As you embark on your new year, you may have been doing things one way, but you haven’t seen the results you’d like. You may have been handling an area of your life in a pattern, but you can observe and admit it’s not working. Change it up. The Lord desires for you to be in good health and to prosper in every way. Take inventory of where you walk is with Him and where God wants to take you. Look at your calling, your marriage, your finances, and how you can take them higher. Then, pray to God for new wisdom and make the life adjustments to get there.
Prayer: Father, I give You praise. You’re right. It’s time for some changes. I refuse for these areas of my life to remain the same in 2022. Begin to show me what You have for me, especially for this new year. Help me to walk in step with Your Spirit for change in my life, so every area of my life can prosper! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
