“I will lift up my eyes to the hills—from whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth” Psalm 121:1-2, NKJV.
It’s good to develop the habit to just stop what you’re doing and look to where your help comes from. I’ve had many times at work, where I’d had to take a break from what I was doing because I had so much I was going through or many responsibilities to handle being a man. I left my desk, walked through a glass window to the heavens, and look to where my help comes from.
Let the Lord remind you to look to Him when you need help. Don’t stand overwhelmed at that critical point in your life and look at the problem, but turn and look to your solution. Wherever you may be, step away from it and look to the Lord! Set your eyes on your mighty God. Your awesome help comes from Him and there not a time He didn’t speak to me through His word. There has never been a time that as I’ve reached for His help that He didn’t reach back–every single time.
He is the One that saves. He is the One that delivers. He is the One that opens doors. He will make it better. He can and will change it all for you my brother. He made heaven and earth, surely He can help you through it. Look to where your help comes from. It comes from your faithful God.
Prayer: Father, I take a moment right now to stop and look to You. Thank You for reminding me to look to You where my help comes from. Help me get to the place you desire for me. Help me with all these decisions as a man. Help my finances Lord. Minister to me now Father. I trust You and I look up to my Help. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
