I Won’t Forget You

August 8, 2020

“So it shall be, when the Lord your God brings you into the land of which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you large and beautiful cities which you did not build, houses full of all good things, which you did not fill, hewn-out wells which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant—when you have eaten and are full— then beware, lest you forget the Lord who brought you out…” Deuteronomy 6:10-12, NKJV.

Increase is coming, and you may say in your own life is already here. Great things are happening, and you are in a promised place. God has been good to you. But remember once you have eaten and are full, don’t forget God.

The man that remembers God remembers where God brought him from. It was the Lord that kept you going. He paid the bill just in time, He gave you the wisdom, He sent the help you needed, and kept the family happy while you got your stuff together as a man. It was and has been God’s goodness all along.

As God blesses you more and more, walk in the principles of humility and wisdom more and more. Keep Christ as Who you obey and serve. The man that remembers God is the man the Lord will continue to bless.

Prayer: Father, I won’t forget You. Help me to remain obedient and faithful when Your goodness shows up in my life. Give me meekness and humility like you, Jesus, even while I’m experiencing great blessings. I will put nothing else before You. So whether I have little or when I am full, I will not forget You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
