Don’t focus on the problem. Fix your eyes on Jesus.

October 2, 2020

“My eyes are ever toward the LORD, for he will pluck my feet out of the net” Psalms 25:15, ESV.

In life, it can be easy to have our eyes fixed on the problem because they are right before us. It’s so easy to look at the situation and become depressed, discouraged and feel as though there’s no hope.

Keep your eyes on Jesus. The devil wants to use your current situation to distract your eyes from looking unto God. He wants to distract your ears from being set on hearing God, because if you can hear God, you can hear hope and victory. If you set your eyes on God, He will show you what to do.

Don’t focus on the problem. Fix your eyes on Jesus and you will see everything you need is found in Him. You’ll see the way He has already made.

Prayer: Father, thank You for Your Word. I’m not looking at the problem. My eyes are on You. My eyes are on how awesome You are. My eyes are on how faithful You are. My mind is set on Your Word. My heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord! In Jesus’ name, Amen!
