“And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, ‘Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored to you, and you shall be clean.’ But Naaman became furious, and went away and said, “Indeed, I said to myself, ‘He will surely come out to me, and stand and call on the name of the Lord his God, and wave his hand over the place, and heal the leprosy.’ ” 2 Kings 5:9-11, NKJV.
Naaman wanted to be healed a certain way, and almost missed his blessing. Have you ever said God I was looking for You to bless me that way, not this way? I was looking for a woman like that to marry, not like this one. I thought You would increase me financially this way, not the way You’ve set before me. You were expecting a different gift and calling. The whole time you are asking the Father why, you could be missing His move in your life. You could be missing your blessing.
You may be looking for God in the earthquake, but He’s in the still small voice. You may be expecting Him in the supernatural, but He’s answering you right now in a simple way. Your blessing my not look like you thought it would, but if you look at it through God’s eyes, you will see it’s the blessing you’ve been praying for. Your talent may not be the same as someone else’s but it’s God’s talent for you, and it will produce the same results you desire, even more.
Pray and ask for the clarity you need. Don’t miss your blessing. You have what you need to live right now.
Prayer: Father, thank You. You just may have already blessed me and I’m overlooking it because I’m expecting You to do it another way. Help me to receive what You have blessed me with. Help me to see my gifts as You see them. I thank You for the clarity I need, and I will not miss my blessing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
