“But now, O Lord, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our potter; and all we are the work of Your hand.” Isaiah 64:8, NKJV.
There is no price tag to who you are as a father. You are priceless. You can look, but you won’t find a replacement for your God-given ability to mold and shape who He has placed into your care. Your children and your wife will never get from someone else what they can only receive from you.
Another man can say the same thing to your children, but it won’t have the same impact as when it comes from you. When daddy says you can do it, they believe it. You give identity and purpose. You give a perspective of victory to your wife and children. You mold and shape. You have a God-given position and voice in your home, and money can’t buy who God has made you.
May you feel honored and appreciated on this day as a father. Your children are as clay in your hands, and everything God is to you, you are called to be to them. In the climate of the world around us, don’t get weary now. Continue to be engaged in your priceless role as a father. Be a reflection of your Father, and love them like Christ.
Prayer: Father, I honor You today. I’m honored You made me a father. Help me to always be mindful of my value and the impact that only I can make. I am priceless in the earth. Help me to lead my family and to be a good father like You. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
