“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” John 14:6, ESV.
Settle within yourself that only Jesus can save you. You might’ve thought the doctors had the cure. You might’ve thought the counselor was going to fix your life. You might’ve thought the lawyer would fight for you and bring you justice. You might’ve thought a woman would be everything you need. We live in a day when we are misplacing our faith. Our confidence is in everything but Jesus. When we put our faith in people, things and systems, we are left disappointed. Only Jesus can heal you and make you whole. Only Jesus can fix your life. Only Jesus can fight for you and be your strong defense. Only Jesus can be everything you need. Though you can’t see Him, He is very real. He says, “Blessed are those who have not seen, and yet believe” (see John 20:29). Rely on Jesus as your only hope in this world. Be confident that He is your Lord and there is none greater.
Say out loud today: “I put my faith in Jesus. No counselor can do what Jesus can do. No doctor can do what Jesus can do. No lawyer can fight for me like He can. No man can love me like He can. I believe in His name and I believe in His power. There is none greater. He is my hope and He alone is my everything!”
