“But God, being [so very] rich in mercy, because of His great and wonderful love with which He loved us, even when we were [spiritually] dead and separated from Him because of our sins, He made us [spiritually] alive together with Christ (for by His grace—His undeserved favor and mercy—you have been saved from God’s judgment). And He raised us up together with Him [when we believed], and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, [because we are] in Christ Jesus, [and He did this] so that in the ages to come He might [clearly] show the immeasurable and unsurpassed riches of His grace in [His] kindness toward us in Christ Jesus [by providing for our redemption].” Ephesians 2:4-7, Amplified.
A new seat I have given you
You’re no longer seated in shame
A new seat I have given you
Your sins I have washed away
I have raised you up
And made you to sit with Me
In heavenly places
Don’t you see?
You are seated
In a seat of power
In a seat of authority
In a seat of influence
In a seat of honor
That’s where you are in Me
That’s where you will be for all eternity
No one can unseat you
No one can remove you
No amount of wind can pull you
Up out of your seat in Me
I am holding you there by My love
You will be all that I have called you to be
You will lead from your seat
You will command from your seat
You will create change from your seat
You will do great exploits from your seat
Don’t you see?
Your victory is in being seated with Me
Says the LORD.
Prayer: Hallelujah. Yes, LORD. I receive your WORD. I acknowledge that I am seated in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. I am seated in a seat of power, a seat of authority, a seat of influence, and a seat of honor. Thank you LORD for your mercy and undeserved favor. Help me LORD to lead from my seat, and command, and create change in the world, and do great exploits from this special place I have in you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
