Nothing less than what He promised you.

October 11, 2018

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly” John 10:10, NKJV.

When you go to work, you put in all your hours, you expect to receive what belongs to you. If your company came to you at the end of the week with only some of your pay check, that would not be good enough. Most of your pay check would be better, yet that still wouldn’t due either.

You did all of your work, therefore, you rightfully expect all of your compensation–nothing less.

Jesus came and lived a sinless life, loved, discipled, saved, healed the sick, opened blind eyes, caused the lame to walk, delivered, empowered, forgave, endured, and then, gave his life on the cross for you and I. He finished all the work, he came to save, and as a son of God, you can rightfully expect everything he paid the price for.

Rightfully expect nothing less than an abundant life. It is the Lord’s joyful desire. He died, so you can live an awesome life. Expect nothing less than being free in Christ, nothing holding you back. Expect nothing less than what Jesus said. Expect nothing less than what He promised you.

Prayer: Thank You Father for Your Word. Thank you Jesus for the work you finished on the cross and I can rightfully expect to be blessed above measure. I am free. I believe You, and I will expect nothing less than to experience Your goodness, faithfulness and promises in my life. It is your joyful desire for me. Thank You Lord! In Your name I pray, Amen.
