Your wife may not be helping you the way your need her to and you are wondering what to do. “In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

If you ever want to know God’s will for your life, His will is for you to express thanks and praise to Him.

For example:

Father, I praise you and I thank you for the job I have. Even though I desire to be paid more, I thank you that I have a job and trust you to meet all of my needs in abundance.

Father, I thank you for my wife. She may not be helping me the way I need her to, but I praise you and thank you still. I glorify you and I put my trust in you to continue your work in his heart.

Father, I praise you and thank you for blessing those around me with miracles and breakthrough in their lives. I rejoice with them and ask you to continue to prosper them. I thank you for all you’ve done for me and I praise you for breakthrough in my life.

Thankfulness goes directly to God’s heart and blesses Him tremendously. It is our faith that pleases Him. So when we thank God, instead of complaining or worrying, we are pleasing God and our act of faith causes Him to move.

Prayer: Father, I thank you and I praise you for your rich words to me. You are so good and you are faithful. In everything I’m facing right now, help me to be thankful. It’s your will that I give thanks in everything, and I want to do your will. So I thank you and I praise you now and always! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
