“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning” James 1:17, NKJV.
“To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven” Ecclesiastes 3:1, NKJV.
The timing He sent Jesus to redeem us was perfect. In His great wisdom, He knew exactly when to we needed him and we’re blessed because of it.
God has done and always does great things for us, but sometimes the challenge for us is that He does them in His timing, not our own. God’s timing may not be your timing, but the truth is still the same: His timing, His season, is perfect.
Just as He is perfect, so is everything He does is. He isn’t late and no matter how it appears, He is in control and never behind schedule. He knows better what you have need of than you ever will. He knows all of your days and the current state of your life, He sees every one of your needs, and even knows what you will need in the future.
Just as God’s timing, what He has for you will be perfect also. His results will be better than you could ask for or imagine. What He is doing for you even now, and going to give you will be far greater than what you could produce on your own.
Wouldn’t you wait for what is perfect? Don’t settle by trying to make something happen in your own ability, by your own hands. The Father is going to be good to you. Don’t bail out because of the wait. What God has for you, His blessing, will be perfect and will have no sorrow with it.
Prayer: Father, You are a good God and everything You do is good and perfect. Help me to trust Your timing. Help me to know that it is in Your hands. Help me to leave it in Your hands. I don’t want my best, I want Yours. Keep me in Your will Father. In faith I will continue to serve and obey You. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
