You don’t have to handle it all. Go to the Lord.

February 1, 2020

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” Matthew 11:28, NKJV.

When you need strength, where do you go? When you feel confused, heavy, or unsettled about your outcome, who do you turn to? I mean really–where do you go? The Lord wants you to come to Him. Sometimes, it’s not easy to go to God because, as a man, we feel we can handle it. We may feel maybe we just need to do something to take our mind off of it, but we find the issue still remains.

Go to the Lord. For the need you have, go into a place where you won’t be disturbed, and in humility, give the Lord what you’re going through. Come to Jesus, and he will give you the rest that you need. Allow the Father to be a Father. Let Him, minister, to you. Let Him extend love and forgiveness to you…and you are worthy to receive it. He’ll supernaturally give you exactly what you’re looking for.

Prayer: Father, I praise You. Right now, I come to You. I have no shame. Please meet my need. Jesus, give me the rest that only you can provide about my life and my situation. Expose what needs to be exposed in me. As I am before You, I believe You will do a supernatural work in me. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
