I’m Moving On

November 20, 2017

“Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel”. Joshua 1:2, KJV.

When around the fellas or people, they talk to you about their future, but do you talk about your past? When we keep giving voice to something to a heavy degree in the past, it is an indicator that we haven’t moved on. What’s not God’s desire. His desire is for you to move on to receive what Christ paid for–an abundant life–and a life full of the restoration of a faithful God ahead.

God told Joshua Moses is dead. Let that sink in for a moment. The Lord was making a point to Joshua to let go of what you can’t do anything about. Arise, go to the land I have for you. Believe and go to the promises I still have you. That situation, that mistake, that relationship, what happened to you is dead, and it may be one of the hardest things to do, but you’ve got to move on. Let God unchain you from that mistake, from bitterness, from anger, from unforgiveness, what they did, and go on to what God has already prepared for your life.

When the devil tempts you to talk about it, say “Moses is dead…I can’t do nothing about that”. Then, arise with courage and talk about what God said. Get the Word of God and let it dwell richly in your heart, and move on to His blessings ahead.

Prayer: Father, the reality is that situation is dead and I can’t do anything about it. Help me to let go and forgive right now. I decide to move on for You. Change my thoughts and change my talk. Today, I will arise and do what You want me to do, and receive what you have for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Study: Ephesians 4:31-32, Isaiah 43:18-19, Colossians 3:16, John 10:10
