A Rejoicing Life

October 7, 2018

“But let all those rejoice who put their trust in You; let them ever shout for joy, because You defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You” Psalm 5:11, NKJV.

There are always reasons for you to rejoice. Rejoice over the good things the Lord has blessed you with. Rejoice because the Lord is up to something in your life. The Lord fights your battles. Rejoice because you are a man that’s going to another level in your life. Be glad that He has made you whole. Yet above all, rejoice because your name is written in the Lamb’s book of life.

God’s desire is that your day be full of rejoicing in Him, as the Lord has made you glad. He wants our all when it comes to rejoicing and to do it more. Just as you rejoice over your life-long sports team, rejoice over your God. Shout for joy, shout because you have overcome, no matter what you face! It will keep your joy full. It will keep you reminded of Who you serve, Who kept you, Who restored you, Who is faithful, Who is pleased with you, loves you and with Him, you cannot lose.

If you learn to rejoice, you will handle your challenges a lot better. You will be more of a man that’s free of care, more lighthearted, less stressed. You will find it to become easier and easier to remind yourself and shout for joy over what the Lord can do. There is no better way to live than to rejoice!

Prayer: Father, I rejoice over You. My name is written in heaven! I rejoice that You have set me free. I rejoice because You are up to something great in my life! Thank You for being a Father to me. I celebrate You and the victory I have in Christ. Develop in me a life of rejoicing. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
