Your Last Obedience

September 8, 2018

“If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land” Isaiah 1:19, ESV.

“But this command I gave them: ‘Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and you shall be my people. And walk in all the way that I command you, that it may be well with you.” Jeremiah 7:23, ESV.

Just as we can make a wrong turn while driving, do you feel like you are off course in God’s will for your life, and genuinely desire to get back on track? You may be asking God how do I get from this place that I am in, back to the other? How do you get to where God wants you to be?

Some of us may very well need to go back to our last place of obedience. What was the last thing you remember God told you to do, and did you do it? When did things go off course in your life? That’s where the turn back towards the plan of God begins. That’s where things will become well for you again. That’s where all the confusion will cease and everything will begin to fall back in place.

You are never too deep, or too far away to obey God and get back on His path for your life.

Prayer: Father, thank You that You never leave us where we are. You are ready to help me get my life back on track. I declare you will eat the good of the land again! I want Your will for my life. Show me my last place of obedience. May I begin there and do what You told me to do. As I do, I praise You in advance for turning things around for me. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
