You’re going to have to fight for it.

April 4, 2019

“For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister. That you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises” Hebrews 6:10 & 12, NKJV.

The promises of God are yours. They indeed are yours, yet they just won’t be allowed to be easily handed to you. You’re going to have to fight for it. It may require you to sacrifice and be patient. It may require some early mornings and late nights. You may have to fast. You may have to turn off some things. You may have to increase your education, or change your spending habits. Whatever it may be, you are going to have to be diligent and tenacious about where God is taking you.

Nobody may see you, yet your Heavenly Father does. He sees your labor of love. He sees your tears, your press, and He will provide the grace to help you. He sees your fight to give more to Him than you ever have, and my brother, He is right there. He will reward you.

Jesus didn’t give in and don’t you give in either. Be strong in God’s grace (2 Timothy 2:1)! Keep the joy of walking in your calling before you. Keep the joy of accomplishing your goals before you. Trust Him and be reminded that what you are fighting for is worth it. His call is worth it. That promised land is worth it. Changing lives is worth it.

Prayer: Father, thank You for encouraging me. I realize that I have to fight for it. Help me to do that. Help me to walk in Your grace provided to help me possess what You have for me. Refresh me Father. I will continue to praise You for the joy of my labor of love, my victory, my promise land. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
