When bad news comes, have a faith response.

September 10, 2020

“He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord” Psalm 112:7, KJV.

I was told yesterday by the company I work for some news about having to make some changes due to economy. My response was God is my Source.

When you are given any kind of bad news, you may have an initial natural response. However, turn away from it. Put it down. Meet it with a faith response. God is your Source! Your job is a stream of income, but not your source of income. The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. He can provide for you in many different ways. He will bless your gifts, as you step out in faith, to create other streams. If your doctor gives you a bad report, respond that your Great Physician, your Source of healing, says that by Jesus’ stripes you were healed. He is your Healer and let your complete trust rest in Him.

Whatever it may be brother, receive His peace right now about it. Your God is able. Lift your hands and have a faith response.

Prayer: Father, I give You praise! To everything happening around me, I choose to have a faith response. I will not fear bad news, but my heart will be fixed trusting in You! Help me to stand trusting in You my Source and unlimited Supply. Thank You for already meeting my need. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
