Being glad in the Lord

September 11, 2020

Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; And let them say among the nations, ‘The Lord reigns’.” 1 Chronicles 16:31, NKJV.

“But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God; yes, let them rejoice exceedingly” Psalm 68:3, NKJV.

Your daily life is to be seen as time not spent on worrying, but assured and glad about your mighty God. Glad means to experience pleasure, joy or delight; to be made happy. He has made your day to live and rejoice exceedingly in. By Him, life is good, abundant and you have been redeemed. By Him, your enemies are driven away. This should continually make you glad.

Even in tribulation, make the grit decision to allow nothing to steal your joy because the Lord reigns! Be full of life, enjoy what is good and be thankful for the progress in your life. Celebrate your victories and where God has brought you from. Go deeper into your purpose–a purpose-filled day will make up a purpose-filled life. See what God is doing and where He’s taking you as marvelous in your eyes.

Confession: I thank the Father for His awesome, unfailing word. I make a decision to rejoice and be glad! I’m walking in joy today because the Lord is on my side. I’m glad He upholds me and answers my prayers. If He said it, He’ll do it! I am glad He continually blesses my life.
