“Jesus wept” John 11:35, NKJV.
“You number my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle; Are they not in Your book? When I cry out to You, Then my enemies will turn back; This I know, because God is for me” Psalms 56:8-9, NKJV.
Some of us men just need a real good cry. Pour it all out at the Father’s feet. Let Him minister to you and let you know you’re okay. You don’t feel okay—but you’re okay. Let Him tell you everything is going to be alright. When you feel like you have to be so strong for everyone else, you become completely weak and broken before God.
You don’t even know what those emotions are you feel, but the Father knows. Just be a son. God says come and let it all out before Him and let Him help you today.
Prayer: Father, I’m so used to having to be so strong, but I thank You that I can be weak before You. I don’t have to be a father and husband. I can just be a son. A son who needs my heavenly Father like never before. I fall to pieces before You now. I let it all out. It’s tough right now. I run to Your arms and let You minister to me, to my pain, to all fear, my insecurities, my uncertainties, my trials, and I find everything I need. It’s going to be alright. I’m alright. Thank You, Father. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
