For Your Glory

September 24, 2020

“You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and by Your will they exist and were created” Revelation 4:11, NKJV.

“I will praise You, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify Your name forevermore” Psalm 86:12, NKJV.

Be sure to do all that you do for the glory of God and not your own. Let Him handle exalting you. Even when men seek to give you the glory for what you’ve done and accomplished, humbly give it to God.

We become more humble when it’s not about our honor and name being known, but His honor and Name being made known in the earth. Exalt the Father as Creator of all things, and we were made for His good pleasure.

As He has been good to us, as we have seen so much mercy and grace toward us, it is only right to give Him the praise for it. He is the source of it all, and He alone deserves it all. As you honor Him, watch Him honor you. This is the heart attitude that will always take you far.

Prayer: Father, thank You for speaking to me. I will do what I do for Your glory. I desire for You to be lifted high in my life for all the world to see. Let this always be my heart attitude toward everything done in my life. Be glorified in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
