“I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ” Acts 20:35, NKJV.
It feels good to get blessed, but it feels even better to be one. It is the greater joy. It feels good when you become what someone has been believing and praying for. When you become and meet someone else’s need. You won’t find a happier and more gratifying place than when you choose to be like Jesus and give your time, your life-filled words, your resources, your life so that someone else can experience a blessing.
Be open to being a blessing today. The kingdom meets needs and that’s what we’re called to be in these times.
Prayer: Father, I give You praise! Your word says it is more blessed to give than to receive. Show me even more how to walk this out in a simple and practical way. Use me to be what someone has been believing and praying for. Use me to encourage and share Your Good News. There’s not a better feeling and more happier place for my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
