“For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister” Hebrews 6:10, NKJV.
I have been employed by a staffing company before, and even though I worked at an entirely different client location, the staffing agency was the one that took care of me. When I did something great on the job, although the staffing agency wasn’t physically there, they would always find out. They would see me and reward me.
Likewise, though we live on this earth, we serve God and are citizens of His kingdom, not this world. Our blessings come from the Lord. He sees you in His word to know Christ more. He sees when you pray and fast. He sees you hold your tongue, forbearing others, and love your enemies. He sees when you didn’t feel like going to church and serving, you went anyway.
Love appears like you receive the least, but it yields the greatest fruit in your life. When we represent Christ, it is pleasing in the Lord’s sight. Don’t become weary in well-doing because you will reap if you don’t faint. When no one knew, you will find He saw all your work of faith and love, and He will reward you for it, even an eternal one.
Prayer: Father, I give you the highest praise. Hallelujah! It can get challenging sometimes, but you see all of my labor of love, Father, and may it be pleasing in your sight. I don’t do it for a blessing. I do it for you, and I worship you. Renew my strength and help me to continue to serve you with gladness. You are the One who sees and rewards me, even eternally. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
