“Then He brought us out from there, that He might bring us in, to give us the land of which He swore to our fathers” Deuteronomy 6:23, NKJV.
Israel had a terrible and hard past of slavery in Egypt that God brought them out of. He delivered them with mighty miracles and wonders that were not to be forgotten. They were to be told even to this day how the Lord brought them out. Yet, the Father’s heart was not to only bring them out of it but to take them into their Promised Land.
No one will ever know your story or your past. God has done wonders in your life and delivered you. He has helped you move beyond what was too strong to get through yourself. However, when things get tough, the enemy comes against us to try to get us to doubt or question if we’ll make it. Yet, be comforted and encouraged in knowing that if He brought you out, He will bring you in.
It is the sole reason He brought you out, and just as powerfully as He brought you out, it will be even more powerful when He takes you in. Continue to trust Him. He brought out of sin, to take you into real freedom. He brought you to His Son, so He could turn your entire life around—and He will.
He brought you out, to take you in!
Prayer: Father, thank You. I praise You for bringing me out. But that’s not all. I praise You because You will take me in. In spite of what I’m going through, help me to keep following Jesus. You have a plan for my life and it will come to pass. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
