A Good Word Will Make You Glad

September 26, 2020

“Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad.” Proverbs 12:25, NKJV.

“He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things” Romans 8:32, NKJV.

The Father has given us His word to think on and be free. He has given us so many mighty promises, which when He couldn’t swear by none greater, God swore by Himself to keep every one He made. He didn’t do it because He had to, but He did it affirm His love. He did it to bedrock your peace and joy, no matter what you go through. His good words settle all disputes in our hearts and minds. For every matter of life, His Spirit even speaks a word in season-specific to give us hope, to cheer us, and lift us up.

Tell yourself I’m not worrying today. I’m not being weighed down today. I give place to a good word that encourages me right where I am in my life and makes me glad!

Prayer: Father, I praise You and thank You for good words that lift me up. I receive it. I give all anxiety and anything weighing me down to You right now. This is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it! Help me to keep on my heart and mind a good word from You. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
