“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God” Romans 12:2, NKJV.
The word “transformed” here in the Greek means to literally transform, like a metamorphosis. It’s like a caterpillar changing into a butterfly. It’s like changing a 1967 Buick into a 2017 Bugatti. You’re one way, but then you get God’s mind on living and He completely changes you into another.
You are rising because God is renewing your mind with His Word. He’s takes away Buick thinking, and working in you Bugatti thinking. You don’t have to conform to this world and you are not the same man anymore. As men, we can be who He’s called us to be and we can do what He’s called us to do.
He’s showing you in His Word Who lives in you. He’s teaching you what it means to be a good man. God doesn’t transform us from the outside in. He changes our foundation, the inside out, and then we rise! You change and see you have no limits in Him.
We can’t see the foundation of a skyscraper, yet it is the most important part of that building. It is what keeps it standing. It is what causes it to go higher and higher. With Christ as your foundation now, the man in you rising. He’s taking you higher and higher. There is nothing you can’t do through the Lord.
Prayer: Thank You Father! I’m changing. I’m doing it Your way. Help me keep the Word as the priority in my life. When I give time and think on Your Word, keep changing me and I’m going higher and higher. Thank You Lord! In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
