A Year of the Glory of God

January 1, 2019

“Everyone who is called by My name, whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him” Isaiah 43:7, NKJV.

“Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you” Isaiah 60:1, NKJV.

The people of Israel were made for the glory of God and so were you. The glory of God in the Hebrew means His splendor, and honor, and the weight of it. It also means the manifestation of His greatness, His holiness expressed, as well as abundance.

This will be a year of the glory of God in your life. The weight of His splendor and the manifestation of His greatness will be seen in and through you this year. His glory has risen upon you, and it will now be seen in the earth.

What the Lord has put in you, is now the time He is bringing it out of you. What He created you for will be revealed, and it is going to bring glory to God. You’ve been behind the scenes being prepared, and now He is about to put His glory on full display. He’s going to use it to bless you and those around you.

You weren’t just created to exist. You were created for His glory. So arise and shine. Your light has come and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!

Prayer: Father, I thank You for speaking to me. Be glorified in and through me this year. Let what You created me for prevail in my life. Let me arise and shine the brightness of Your glory! What you’ve put in me to bring glory to You, I ask that You cause it to be revealed this year, even Your abundance. Make Yourself more known in the earth through me and every believer. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

Study: Isaiah 60:1-3; Psalm 84:11
