“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God” Romans 12:2, NKJV.
The word “transformed” here in the Greek means to literally transform, like a metamorphosis. It’s like a caterpillar changing into a butterfly. It’s like changing a 1987 Buick into a 2019 Bugatti. You’re one way, but then you get God’s mind on living and He completely changes you into another.
You are rising because God is renewing your mind with His Word. He’s takes away Buick thinking, and working in you Bugatti thinking. You don’t have to conform to this world and you are not the same man anymore. You can be who God has called you to be and you can do what God says you can do.
He’s showing you in His word Who lives in you. He’s teaching you what it means to be a good man. God doesn’t transform us from the outside in. He changes our foundation, the inside, and then we rise! With Christ and God’s word as your foundation, the man in you is rising. Keep changing through His word and you will see more of God’s good, acceptable, and perfect will for you.
Prayer: Thank You Father! I praise You. I’m changing. I’m doing it Your way. Help me keep Your word as priority in my life. When I give time and think on Your Word, cause the new man in me to rise. Keep changing me and I declare I’m not staying where I am. I’m going higher and higher. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!
