What are you expecting God to do?

“Surely there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off” Proverbs 23:18, ESV.

“The hope of the righteous brings joy…” Proverbs 10:28, ESV.

Are you expecting God to do something big? I’m not talking about the size of what He can do, but the quantity in which He can do them. You can expect God to do something in your marriage, in your finances, in your children, in your mind, and your faith today. That is what He desires. He wants you to expect each day that He will exceed what you can ask or think in quantity (see Ephesians 3:20). Even when He leads you to obey today, know that He desires to bless you today. He can do a lot with a mustard seed of faith that you put in Him.

Prayer: Father, You are a great God that does great things. Jesus, you are my Shepherd, and I shall not want. You will move in my life today, and this brings me great joy. Surely there is a future, and my hope will never be cut off. I believe it. Help me to stand expecting You to do a lot in my life today. As I awake, give me a hearing ear and a willing heart to follow You. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
