“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe” Proverbs 18:10, NKJV.
When you are buying a car, one of the first questions you want to know is whether that vehicle is safe. Is it dependable and solid. It doesn’t matter how good it looks on the outside, or how well it drives, it must be safe enough to get you where you need to go.
God is safe enough for you. His will is solid enough for you. It may look like on the outside what can prayer do, what can allowing Him to direct your path do, what can being in His will do, but those are the very things that will bless your life.
This year, decide that in the Lord is the safest place to be. When you decide to do what He says, work where He says work regardless of the salary, marry the woman He tells you to marry, live in this city, join this church, you are choosing Him and He is a strong tower. His Name is proven and His plans are sure. You can run to Him for all that you need. He will also help you withstand anything.
Prayer: Lord, I rejoice in You. I have run into You and I am safe. I’m solid in You. No matter the circumstance, I follow You and always find a safe place and provision in my life. You are a strong tower. Help me Father to humble myself to Your will this year. In You is the safest place to be. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
