Perfect love casts out fear!

April 12, 2019

“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love” 1 John 4:18, NKJV.

Perfect love casts out fear. When perfect love shows up, it takes fear by the shirt and pants, picks it up off the floor, and casts it out the door of your life. Why? Because this is a spirit that is somewhere that it has no right to be. It use to, but not now. You are God’s property. You’ve been bought with a price paid by Christ according to (1 Cor. 6:20). Fear has no right, no authority to govern you, to rule over you, to dictate the decisions you make, to tell you whether or not you will be who God says you will be, and do what God says you can do.

Christ is in you. His Spirit is in you and He has not given you the Spirit of adoption to fear (Romans 8:15). He didn’t give you the Holy Spirit to stay the same. He gave you the Holy Spirit so you can cry Daddy. You now have a closeness, a relationship with God where you know that He loves you and there is nothing He is not with you about. He is for you, and since He is for you, who can be against you. Glory to God!

If He is for you, you can climb higher and higher. You can speak to the mountain, and it must obey you. You can leap over a wall, you can run through a troop. There’s no call to big for God and there’s no call too big for you!

Prayer: Father, I give You praise today. Thank You for the love You have for me. I allow Your perfect love to cast out fear in my heart and my life. You didn’t give it to me, but You’ve given me a spirit of love, power and a sound mind. I’m going for it! Fear will not tell me who I can be or what I can do any longer. I’m a man after Your own heart, and You are with me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
