Live like you don’t have a care in the world

February 28, 2019

“Therefore I tell you, stop being worried or anxious (perpetually uneasy, distracted) about your life, as to what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, as to what you will wear. Is life not more than food, and the body more than clothing? Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow [seed] nor reap [the harvest] nor gather [the crops] into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they?” Matthew 6:25-26, Amplified.

There will always be a whisper in your heart from God as His son to do one thing–don’t worry. God’s heart is that you learn to live without a care in the world.

The Message Bible says the birds who are free and have no job description, are careless in the care of God. They don’t have money, but they eat each day. They don’t have a home, but they always receive shelter. They fly in their freedom and every day the Lord never ceases to fail them. If God provides for them, would He not provide for you? If He works out each day for them, will He not do it for you? You are worth far more than all the birds combined.

Be encouraged to let it all go. There is so much you could worry about, but my brother it will surely keep you from truly living. Your Heavenly Father knows what you need before you even ask. Enjoy your precious moments. Fly in your freedom. Go after the kingdom and His righteousness, and He will handle the rest.

Prayer: Father, I give You praise and I thank You for Your word. I am a man without a care in the world! I am careless in Your care, trusting You. Help me to enjoy abundantly my life and not worry about the situations of my life. May I enjoy my precious moments. May I laugh like I’ve already overcome. I will fly in my freedom that Jesus has given me. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
