Your Cup Runs Over

February 27, 2019

“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over” Psalm 23:5, NKJV.

I want you to literally get a cup and sit it in front of you. As you look at that cup, say this with me: “My cup isn’t empty. My cup isn’t full. My cup runs over.”

Running over in the Hebrew means satisfaction and wealthy. You have no shortages, including a shortage of God. When God says your cup runs over, He means it. He has given you all things that pertain to life and godliness. You are suited and equipped for whatever your situation calls for. Jesus is your shepherd and there’s nothing you lack, and there’s a miraculous God is overflowing in you.

Some things you may not physically have in your hands yet, but you will. Your cup may appear empty, but it won’t remain that way. You will see the goodness and mercy of God. What you see with your eyes in the distance that God has for you is coming closer and it is about to come to pass. Let it be a reminder that every cup in your life is running over.

Prayer: Father, I sincerely thank You. My cup is running over. You are filling my life with a satisfaction and wealth that can’t be explained. It is because of Jesus that I’m blessed and victorious. I access what I need right now and let it run over. Help me to continue to let Jesus be my Shepherd and I receive everything You have for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
