I’ll Trust You

December 28, 2019

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths” Proverbs 3:5-6, NKJV.

“Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:5, NKJV.

When there are certain shifts and decisions, when changes are needed in our lives, at the root of it all, it requires our trust in the Lord. When you know it’s time to embrace what He’s put in you all the way and to dive fully into following Him, it requires a trust in God.

You may have given some of your heart to God and seeking Him, but never like this. You may give some of your time toward the vision you have, but never like what He is asking of you. You have acknowledged the Lord, and He is answering you, speaking to your heart, and now He wants you to trust Him. He wants you to take all of your focus, all of your pursuits, and put it in His hands. He wants you to know that the same outcome you desire in your life, He not only has the same in mind but better and much greater.

With meekness and humility, let Jesus lead the way. It’s time to trust God.

Prayer: Father, thank You for encouraging me to put all of my trust in You. You are a good Father. You are speaking to me, and it is time to trust You. Reveal to me how to not lean on and trust in my own understanding. Help me to give my time toward what will produce fruit in my life. Help me to dive with all of my heart into following You. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

Study: Psalm 37:3-6 & 63:8, Matthew 11:29-30
