He’s making you faithful.

“He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much” Luke 16:10, NKJV.

“A faithful man will abound with blessings…” Proverbs 28:20, NKJV.

Although a father could give his son a brand new car for college, he deems it necessary to buy him a dependable, used car first to show himself faithful. After the real need has been achieved, that same father takes his son to get a brand new car with the money from selling his well-kept, used one. This was the father’s plan all along.

Your heavenly Father always has a greater purpose in mind when He starts us with something small. He has deemed it necessary for us to be faithful with the little. Once you show yourself faithful (trustworthy, constant) with a little, He will overwhelm you with more. So don’t be discouraged because certain things have not materialized yet. Keep working what’s in your hands. He is a good Father and He knows exactly what He’s doing. He is faithful and He wants His character established in you.

You have a core need of faithfulness where you’re going. There are no limits for a man with a faithful foundation, and he will abound with blessings. God is going to flood your life with what you have desired, which you will find was the Father’s plan all along because He now knows you can handle it.

Prayer: Father, You know what I need and You always have my best interest in mind. Make me even more into a faithful man, and help me to be found trustworthy with the little You have given me. Where I am in life, complete Your work in me. I will wait on You. As I am faithful, I will abound in blessings. Thank You for making me faithful! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
