He Still Called You

April 18, 2019

“Paul, a bondservant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God” Romans 1:1, NKJV.

“For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable” Romans 11:29, NKJV.

Without question, one of the greatest blessings and comfort in your life is to simply know that you have been called. The Apostle Paul knew that he was called to be a preacher, apostle and teacher. The knowledge of this call, the knowledge of the will of God for his life, kept Him in his most challenging times.

In times of pressure, you’re still called. If you’ve messed up or you are at a low point in your life, you know what my brother–you’re still called. The Father will not withdraw your calling or gifts, nor will He change His mind or His expected end for your life. Since you are still called, you are still graced, still anointed and favored.

Whatever the will of the Father is for you, stay the course, trusting in His promises. Whatever you may be going through, as Paul always walked in, stand in the face of your challenge and say I know what I’m called to do.

Prayer: Father, I give You all the praise and glory today. Thank You for still calling me. Allow the knowledge of Your calling to keep me and encourage me right now. Since I am called, I win and I thank You. Lead me by Your Spirit. I will press on through Jesus Christ, trusting in Your promises. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Study: Ephesians 1:18, 2 Timothy 1:9
