He Loves Us

February 14, 2020

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us” Romans 5:8, NKJV.

“…but faith working through love” Galatians 5:6, NKJV.

When I received Jesus into my life, the first thing God revealed to me was simply His love for me. He didn’t show me anything deep. It was not anything profound, and He began to show me why.

The foundation of anything you do for God will be based on knowing that He loves you. His love is your foundation for anything you will overcome and anything you stand in faith to believe God for. It’s knowing that He loves you is what will get you through your trial. It’s knowing that He loves you will get you through that struggle. It’s knowing that He loves you will keep you trusting in His wisdom and His word.

The Father gave His Son Jesus to confirm His love toward you. It doesn’t matter what you have done, or how low you may feel. He won’t let you stay there. He is going to meet your deep need. He is going to answer you and overwhelm you with what is good. He has all power in His hands, and He is using it, even now, on your behalf. Not based on you doing everything right, but because He loves you.

Right where you are, allow His love to be the first thing you consider, and it will change your life.

Prayer: Father, thank You for Your great love for this man. I’ve been through some things, but You still love me. You gave Your Son Jesus, and I receive everything he has provided. Help me to receive that if Jesus was given for me, there’s nothing You won’t do for me. There’s nothing You won’t help me accomplish. Take me higher in my faith through a growing knowledge of Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Study: John 3:16, Romans 8:32-39
