Find Your Burden, Find Your Destiny

February 15, 2020

“And when Jesus went out He saw a great multitude; and He was moved with compassion for them, and healed their sick” Matthew 14:14, NKJV.

A burden is to simply have a charge or duty to meet a need. Show me someone that has done something great for God, and I’ll show you the burden the fueled it. I’ll show you their passion. I’ll show you the burden that moved them to give up mediocrity for greatness.

Yet, God’s burden—a burden on your heart from Him—doesn’t make you heavy. It makes you light. You can run and not get weary. You can walk and not faint with God’s burden because He will give you the grace to do it. When you find your burden, you’ll find your purpose. You’ll find great joy, and you’ll find God’s anointing and favor. It drove Jesus to give His life for us, and your burden, your passion, will drive you to give your life too.

Find your burden, and you’ll find your destiny.

Prayer: Father, I ask that You show me what I have a godly burden for. Show me my passion where I can’t help but do it. I can’t help but leave everything to achieve it. Show it to me. Give me a heart like Yours toward people, and I will do what You’ve called me to do. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen!
