Go Get It

June 10, 2019

“The soul of a lazy man desires, and has nothing; but the soul of the diligent shall be made rich” Proverbs 13:4, NKJV.

There is a difference between wanting something and actually doing what it takes to have it. As a man, I had to face the hard reality that if I don’t do anything towards accomplishing what I desire, I will only have a desire. If I don’t get my family there, we won’t get there. I am seeing more and more that I am built to go the extra mile. I am built to run hard. We are built to go get what God has for us.

The lazy man sits next to his dreams, waiting on them to happen. God wants you to be the diligent man that says I want it and will do what is required to get it. His will is not that you only see it in your heart, but not experience it in your life. He wants to increase you. God wants to make you rich in all things. You may not know it all, but make a sincere effort to act on what you do know to do. God will step in, when you step out. God will step in and bless the work of your hands, providing grace and favor to help you.

You don’t have to just want it. You can have it also. Understand and rest assured that if God gave you the desire, it is yours to obtain. So go get it.

Prayer: Father God, thank you for speaking directly to my heart and my situation. Your wisdom is perfect for me. I ask for a diligent spirit. I will not be afraid. Help me to get this done and may Your grace abound toward me. Be glorified in my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
