If you show up, He will show out.

December 4, 2016

“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him…” 2 Chronicles 16:9, KJV.

We went to the hospital yesterday to share Jesus and God’s love the sick. At first we visited and prayed for someone we knew to be healed from cancer. God’s presence and peace filled the room, and she very touched by our company. Afterwards, we went to some rooms nearby and offered prayer. One lady wasn’t talking well, but we prayed for her healing, cast out spirits and her relative said she is talking better, and could now understand what she is saying.

As we got in a packed elevator to leave, a family asked if we could pray for their relative. No one knew anybody, but we all, black and white, stepped out of the elevator, joined hands, powerfully prayed and we hugged each other. Then, moments later, two more women stopped us and asked for prayer. We thanked God for sharing His love and for moving in a mighty way.

God wants to move in the earth, and He is simply looking for a willing vessel, a willing heart, to show Himself strong through. Wherever you show up at, you carry Him with you. His love, His joy, His peace, His healing is in you. If you will decide to show up, show up at the hospital, the jail, someone’s home or any other place He tells you to go, He will show out.

Prayer: Father, people are hurting and in need of Jesus in these times. Help me to forget about everything that seems like it’s important, but really isn’t. It is all about Your kingdom Father. I listen now for what You want me to do. Help me to show up, so You can show out. If I will just show up, You will do the work. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Study: Matthew 10:1, 7-8; Luke 10:2, 17
