Don’t stop doing the work He’s called you to.

June 21, 2018

“So, my dear brothers and sisters, be strong and immovable. Always work enthusiastically for the Lord, for you know that nothing you do for the Lord is ever useless” (1 Corinthians 15:58, NLT).

Whether you are a believer, pastor, a missionary, a volunteer, doctor, or whatever work God has called you to, remain strong (steadfast), immovable, always abounding each day in it. Always give your best toward it, going way above what’s required and remain excited about your purpose. The enemy may be telling you to stop the work you are doing, it’s useless and where’s the money in it. That is far from the truth of God. His work is never useless. It was never about money for Jesus, and don’t allow it to become about money for you. Do what you do for God. Your blessings and reward always comes from Him.

God is saying to you today, “Be steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work I’ve given you to do. Know that your labor is not in vain. You may not see any visible proof of the difference I am using you to make, but you are making a difference. Don’t me moved. Don’t lose heart. Don’t lose your eternal perspective. Continue to abound in My work and I will cause all of My grace and favor to abound toward you.”

Prayer: Father God, I thank You for speaking to me today. I receive Your supernatural encouragement and I thank You for giving me the victory through Jesus Christ. No matter how it looks or what I hear, help me to abound and stay on fire about the work You’ve called me to. Restore my passion for it. Help me to maintain my joy and an eternal perspective on what I do for You. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
