“Save Your people and bless Your inheritance; be their shepherd also, and carry them forever” Psalm 28:9, Amplified.
There’s nothing like the carrying power of the Lord. The One who girded us up when we had no answer for our sin. The One who took all of our sickness and disease on His shoulders. He is able to carry you through whatever you’re experiencing right now.
When you feel you are at your breaking point and you can’t go another step, the Lord will carry you. He’ll step in and lift up a grown man that’s in tears, who’s tired. He’ll pick up the man who says it’s too tough right now. He’ll give hope to the man that is feeling like throwing in the towel.
I know that to be the case in my own life. When I asked God to remove the pain, and although things didn’t change, He told me He would carry me through it, and that’s when I came to know how real God is. He will do the same for you.
He said He would never leave us nor forsake us. He’ll carry you through the storm, through the loss, through the pain, through the disappointment. We must come to Him. We must believe on Jesus and come to Him. Everything else will fail to help us, but He won’t. He’ll meet you at your point of need and carry you through it.
Prayer: Lord, carry me through this. I feel like I can’t go another step and unless You carry me. I am at a breaking point and I need you Lord to pick me up. Be my Shepherd. Heal me. Comfort me. Encourage me. Carry me. In Jesus’s name, Amen.
