Prosper Me in My Heart

August 7, 2019

“Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me” Psalm 51:10, NKJV.

For a man, financial prosperity is good, but prosperity of the heart is far better. It is the heart that doesn’t fail in the face of fear and adversity. You speak the truth and love the Father. We sincerely care about people, and have big hearts towards the lost. We pray for others like we pray for ourselves. We view sin like God, we have a genuine pursuit to please Him and have a clean heart.

This is what David did when he sincerely prayed this very psalm. In spite of his mistakes, the Bible says that he was a man after God’s own heart. His repenting alone caused him to walk in the best prosperity–and if you need to, so will you. Above all you seek after, prosper in your heart today.

Prayer: Father, thank You this morning for Your word. Above money and things, prosper my heart. Increase, grow and enlarge my heart for You and for others. Help me to hold tight to what is good, and give me a heart that loves You with everything I have. This is my best prosperity. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Study: Psalm 15, 37:4 & 51; Matthew 5:8, Acts 13:22, 3 John 1:2
