“You will not need to fight in this battle. Stand firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the Lord on your behalf, O Judah and Jerusalem.’…” 2 Chronicles 20:17, ESV.
There is a great quote that’s so true that says, “The only difference between a stumbling block and a stepping stone is how you use them.”
We all have challenges, but that doesn’t mean they make us stop. That doesn’t mean we cave in, or give up. That is the time to seek the Lord on how to rise above it. If God is on your side, a challenge is never the end-all. The Lord has given you a hope and an expected end. Your challenge is your opportunity.
Your challenge is your opportunity in disguise to build your trust in God. It’s God’s opportunity to provide, reveal, and make a way. It’s an opportunity to hold your position and watch Him fight for you, watch Him save. Draw closer to Christ, and hear Him teach you something beyond how things in your life appear.
In these times, be bold and confront your obstacles. They will turn out to be opportunities for growth and strength for you. It is our decision on how to handle it, how to respond with faith in God, is what moves us forward.
Prayer: Father, thank You for giving me the right view on the challenge before me. Give me eyes to see this challenge as an opportunity for You to do something great not only for me, but in me. Jesus, I receive Your mind on the matter and I decide to let You use this challenge to propel me forward in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
