“Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:5, NKJV.
When God says specific shifts and decisions are needed in our lives, at the root of it all, it requires trust in the Lord. When you know it’s time to embrace a surrendered life and to dive fully into following Him, it requires trust in Him.
You may have given some of your heart to God and seeking Him, but never like this. You may give some of your time toward the vision you have, but never like what He is asking of you. You have acknowledged the Lord, and He is answering you, speaking to your heart, and now He wants you to trust Him. He wants you to take all of your focus and your pursuits and put it in His hands. He wants you to know that the same outcome you desire in your life, He has the same in mind, better and much greater.
It may be tough, but with meekness and humility, let Jesus lead the way. In this time in your walk, leave caution to the wind and decide to deeply trust God.
Prayer: Father, thank you for encouraging me to dive in with my trust in you. You are speaking to me, and it is time to trust you in a deeper way. Help me how not to lean on and trust in my own understanding. Help me to give my time in your word and toward what will produce the greatest fruit in my life. Help me to dive with all of my heart into following you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
